This is a good printer but a bit slow, comes with no instructions and IS NOT BLUE TOOTH as stated, for my needs this was not needed. (If you need the IP address ) Turn off printer hold feed button till you hear one beep the release. All the information on the printer will then print.
Tons of customization settings for specific needs that come with its own program, this has been a huge difference compared to our last which required you to dig around to even have a hope to adjust things
The Kitchen Buzzer connects directly the RJ11 port on the back of the printer. The buzzer sounds when a print job is sent to the TSP100. This is beneficial for high noise environments like kitchens to alert cooks that orders have been sent.
I used this printer to print receipts for my Square and PayPal Here credit card transactions, in my taxi cab business. The printer is very compact and light weight. One thing I have noticed, is that sometimes the PayPal Here app will not recognize the printer for whatever reason. I’ve never experienced this issue with Square. Overall, I am fairly satisfied with the printer’s overall performance. Regarding the printer’s battery life: Since I used the printer exclusively in a mobile setting, I purchased the Star Micronics Car Charger (Model #SM-S/T) on another site. The Star Micronics web site indicates the supplied battery can be fully recharged up to 600 times before the battery should be replaced.
The options for near-dedicated photo printers are pretty much the same as for standard office printers. Some models offer just a single USB connector. Others add a second USB connector for sharing between two computers, or an Ethernet connector for easy sharing on a network; some offer Wi-Fi connectivity as well, and a few offer USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. Few models offer PictBridge connectors or similar choices, because the assumption is that serious photographers will want to print from photo-editing programs on their computers.
I think this may help with the confusion, it has to be plugged into the router (chord not included) but you can print over WIFI, I have 3 I pads using Square Register that we print from during lunch orders. Been about a month and we are really happy. It is noisy but does the job.

We implemented the use of iPads running Square Register in our Deli and so far we’ve been extremely happy with the results. The printer works great when paired with the T320-BL1616 Cash Drawer, although we do find that occasionally when tendering a sale that the drawer doesn’t pop open however that may have to do with the network or Square software. The printer was easy to setup, plug & play. The iPad using Square Register recognized the printer immediately and was ready to use moments after setting up. The staff suggestions on my initial inquiry, as to printer and cash drawer, was the reason I chose Barcodesinc. to
The Ethernet printers compatible with Square Point of Sale are thermal printers. They call for heat-sensitive paper and won’t work with non-thermal receipt paper. These types of printers typically aren’t excellent for kitchens or high-temperature working areas.

With both printers you will need to use Epson’s Bluetooth Pairing Utility (Bluetooth Connector V 2.0) instead of the standard printer driver package. The setup process is fairly straight forward with the step by step instructions available for download here. By default your pairing code is ‘0000’, but for security reasons you may want to change that.

I’ve installed dozens of these square POS systems. They work fine on their own, just be sure to get the proper size/version to match your ipad, the connectors differ. To expand the system you pair it with a printer, cash drawer, scanner, and chip reader.
Status lights on the printer are available in this bar at the top. When the cover is open, you’ll get a warning, when it’s out of paper you’ll get a flashing warning telling you you’re out of paper, so very handy, and then there’s a little icon that kind of tells you what the different errors mean. The M30 prints at a nice 8 inches per second. The M10 prints at a slightly slower but still very good 6 inches per second.

The printer is compact, prints clearly, and has absolutely no issue when printing a receipt for my Square sales. The fact that it is blue tooth meant I could put it anywhere in my home office that was convenient and not tied down by the length of a USB cord otherwise. I have it linked up to an old iPhone 4s phone and run credit cards using Square and print receipts easily. I’m so pleased that I paid some more money and got the blue tooth version.
I am having issues with printer USB connectivity. iPad recognizes square stand and the square stand also charged the iPad. But the USB hub will no longer charge chip reader nor will the printer’s green light turn on. I also just updated my iPad to iOS 9.3.1
Works well, however a little slow in printing. Quality is great and pairing is plain simple and easy to understand. Works well with my iPad Mini 2 that I am using with PayPal Here. 2nd month and running strong. I will update you when anything goes wrong. Excellent product with 1 year warranty.

Printouts created using POS printers may include the business name, contact number, and address. This makes it easy for shoppers to remember where they bought items and return there for similar goods, providing an excellent marketing opportunity. Many POS printers also offer reverse-side printing, letting you add coupons or valuable tips and store policies to the back of each receipt.
Edit to say that the network issues I mentioned were tied to the wireless router we were using. Replaced that piece and the printer started working great. I still recommend purchasing as a package for better price and customer service, but not a bad piece of equipment.
