If you’re considering a POS system to make it more convenient for your business to manage inventory and prices, you shouldn’t look any further. For the price, you can set up a fantastic FREE POS software with all the accessories such as the stand, receipt printer, cash drawer, barcode scanner, and EMV/chip reader for one upfront cost and not have to pay for your POS like some of these not so reputable POS sellers try to market to you. Even if you don’t use Square to process your cards (which is what Square truly wants you to do), the setup for a POS system with an iPad is second to none. The software gets constant updates, works flawlessly, and is FREE. I have no regrets about switching to the Square ecosystem for running my business and selling inventory. I occasionally use their card processing, but even if I didn’t, I’d still use the Square POS system and software. No regret here!

So in the scheme of “would we buy these printers?” it comes down to would we buy these instead of other Epson printers? I would probably recommend the T20II the most out of all the printers, I think for the price and features and warranty, the T20II is your best bet. If you are worried about space though, take a look at the M series, especially the M10, it’s very very small compared to older receipt printers. The styling on both of these are better than the T20II. If you’re looking for just pure performance, pure reliability, pure speed, the T88V is still your best bet. So that’s kind of the Epson overview of all their printers. Good printers, probably at this time not their best printers, but they are space saving options, and there are some unique pairing capabilities, so if you’re on a tablet or something like that and you don’t have a USB port, then take a look and see if a proper interface is available for you. To purchase these printers, or for more information, please visit us at POSGuys.com. Thanks!
Troubleshooting resolves the most common issues (Square Stand USB Attachment Issues) however if these tips don’t help, we recommend replacing the entire unit with a Square Stand Warranty Claim rather than purchasing a single USB Hub. When you place a warranty claim, we’ll send you out a brand new replacement Square Stand with new USB Hubs.
At just 10cm high and 30cm wide the mPOP is compact enough for any retail or hospitality application. The Bluetooth connectivity means only one mains cable is needed for full operation. USB connectivity ports are neatly positioned at the back of the unit offering quick and easy access – simply plug in and go!
The issue is fixed with iOS 9.3.2 (which is in public beta, though we don’t know when it will be widely released). You can either wait until 9.3.2 is widely available or install the public beta from http://beta.apple.com
Use the specially designed Vertical Stand when utilizing the TSP100 in a vertical orientation. The Vertical Stand provides a clean surface facing the customer, which also creates room for advertising.
The M10 and M30 are very similar form factors, this is set to top load, this is set to front load. In the top load version, your cover opens up, your paper just drops in. The printer can also be converted to the front load version. In the front load, your paper drops in like so.
The TSP100ECO electronics has been designed with an advanced power management circuitry which allows any user to reduce his printer current consumption by up to 75% compared to standard Star printers making it the most economic printer in its class. Developed with smart paper management features, the TSP100ECO is designed to minimize the environmental impact of point of sale printing.
I bought his to use with my ipad and square point of sale system when I occasionally do craft shows. So far so good. I wish it automatically connected with Square when I open the app but I have to connect under setting- my only complaint. Other than that it performs nicely, is very light and compact and reliably prints a decent easy to read receipt.
Amongst the most popular of Epson products is the TM-T88V receipt printer. The bluetooth interface-enabled version of the TM-T88V is the C31CA85955. In the world of thermal receipt printing, the TM-T88V is an example of excellence beyond which you don’t need to look much further (if you have the budget for it).
I did have a question about multiple receipt printing, but an email to the POS Maid support team in conjunction with support from the Star Micronics website, resolved this. You CAN print multiple copies of each transaction.
The ShippingPass assortment is continually being optimized. Products are added and removed for lots of reasons, but the main reason is to show items that we’re 100% sure we can deliver within the promised timeline.

As mentioned above, PayPal states that it is likely that other Ethernet interface Star Micronics printers will work with iOS devices, but the layout may be different. If you already have an Ethernet interface Star printer, you can download the PayPal Here app and test your printer compatibility. If you do not, we recommend the Ethernet interface TSP100III (listed above) over any other Star printer, because it is compatible with a variety of other point of sale apps for iOS, such as ShopKeep, making it easy to upgrade in the future.
Sturdy, good battery, good-looking receipts, very portable and adaptable as it uses Bluetooth. (Oddly, it also has an old-fashioned serial port for hard-wiring, rather than USB.) Unfortunately, at least with Shopify, there is about a 10-second delay from the sale until it starts printing the receipt. It’s at least 5 seconds too long as you awkwardly wait with the customer for their receipt. It uses small paper rolls that don’t last very long and are extremely difficult to find (online only). The other con is that like most receipt printers, it’s quite expensive for what it does.

There is a wide variety of hardware that works with Square for Android, despite not being officially supported. Bluetooth accessories, for example, are not officially compatible with Square for Android. However, we have tested Bluetooth scanners with success; they function with Square for Android the same way as USB scanners. We have tested the following unsupported hardware, and we have found it works with Square. Please keep in mind that since this hardware is unofficial, Square will not support you should you run into any issues.
With included internal power supply, power cables, complete mounting kits, and paper roll, the TSP100III is the perfect printer for any mPOS bundle. Star has also added an additional USB type A connector for one convenient power source for your tablet or mobile device. This unit worked very well out of the box. Yes, it would have been nice to find instructions, or even a url for where to find the manual, but some kind souls have posted about that in the q&a, so no biggie. But yesterday I plugged it in to charge, after. It using it for a couple of weeks, and no joy. The unit shows no sign of life at. I have removed the battery, checked and wiped the connections, etc etc. The return window closed 26 days ago so looks like I’m screwed 🙁 I’m dismayed to have spent $295 (including taxes) for a paperweight, and not sure what to do next. 😩
I already had the square reader and just was tired of it being in other spots or being charged. The dock was a great addition to the square stand and the printer. Very easy to use. Just attach to the square stand and put the reader in. The dock has weight to it so i dont have to worry about it falling especially in the spot i put it. Definitely reccomend

Near-dedicated photo printers are far larger than most standard inkjets, because they’re typically designed for printing on cut-paper sheets as large as 13 by 19 inches, as well as banner-size variations in some cases. Some print from roll paper as well. Beyond the printer size itself, however, some printers need additional room behind them.
Overall, this is a great printer. I can’t complain about the price because for similar thermal printers, this is relatively cheap. Any cheaper and there are issues with printing mechanics and whatnot.
The usual rule for printers is to find out the printer’s monthly duty cycle (the maximum you can print per month) and its recommended duty cycle, and make sure the recommended duty cycle is more than you plan to print. Unfortunately, this is almost impossible with most dedicated and near-dedicated photo printers.
With the rise of iPad-based point of sale systems, having a receipt printer that easily interfaces with the iPad and integrates with the POS app is crucial for a complete system. Whether you need a fixed printer or a completely mobile solution we have a printer to meet the needs of any environment.
Great little printer. Very compact. Works incredibly well with Paypal Here on an iPad, setup was a breeze. Only wish would be a little more battery life as extra batteries are expensive ($60 each!). I used it for 3 hours and maybe a dozen prints and that expended about half the battery.
