Epson Tm M10 Bluetooth Model | Star Tsp143iii Lan

Finally, the SP700 is Star’s most durable printing solution for kitchens. It is designed specifically to work in environments where heat and humidity can erode the type on the kitchen order. So in the scheme of “would we buy these printers?” it comes down to would we buy these instead of other Epson printers? I would probably recommend the T20II the most out of all the printers, I think for the price and features and warranty, the T20II is your best bet. If you are worried about space though, take a look at the M series, especially the M10, it’s very very small compared to older receipt printers. The styling on both of these are better than the T20II. If you’re looking for just pure performance, pure reliability, pure speed, the T88V is still your best bet. So that’s kind of the Epson overview of all their printers. Good printers, probably at this time not their best printers, but they are space saving options, and there are some unique pairing capabilities, so if you’re on a tablet or something like that and you don’t have a USB port, then take a look and see if a proper interface is available for you. The printer works great with my Samsung Galaxy tab and it’s wireless which saves on space. Use only the ethernet cable that Star sells though. When I ordered the one that Amazon recommended, it was the wrong type.
I’ve only had it up and running for a couple of weeks now, but it prints and cuts the receipts well and have yet to have any problems with it. Drivers disc makes setting up and installing a snap, and it comes with any/all necessary cables. It even comes with a mount for wall mounting, but in looking at it I’m not sure how you would do that or even why someone might want to 🙂

PayPal Here is not officially compatible with any barcode scanners, and instead works with the camera on your device. If you do not want to use your device camera to scan barcodes (for instance, if you are using PayPal Here with an iPad in a stand and you don’t want to navigate the iPad camera), you can use a Bluetooth barcode scanner instead. Bluetooth barcode scanners can scan from the barcode scan window in PayPal Here (which automatically brings up the device camera), and can be used how you would normally use a Bluetooth scanner.

Like I said the only issue im having which is not the printers fault is me utilizing the ESC/POS commands but I was having that issue with my other printer simply because I don’t program in C# and VB.Net(ALTHOUGH IT HAS SOME SAMPLES FOR VB6 FOR THOSE WHO STILL USE VB6!!)

“The update to Java scheduled for September 2017, Java 9, is currently incompatible with POS printers in use at WorldShare Management Services (WMS) libraries. WorldShare Circulation depends on the workstation’s Java implementation to communicate with POS printers for printing receipts, which means that any WorldShare Circulation workstation that is updated to Java 9 will lose the ability to communicate with POS printers.
Overall, this is a great printer. I can’t complain about the price because for similar thermal printers, this is relatively cheap. Any cheaper and there are issues with printing mechanics and whatnot.
This is a fantastic product, worked as expected with tons of options and the ability to configure settings is very handy. Everything installed properly and it works despite not having a dedicated POS server! The ability to reduce receipt size has been a huge thing for us. Only issue we ran into was an issue on our side of things not fully uninstalling our old drivers, but once we did a full uninstall it worked like a dream. The ability of the printer to cut the receipt off for us has been a big help and makes them look much more professional over all and speeds things up considerably more than we expected.

Can I ask if this issue with android and receipt printing to the Star SM 220-i got sorted out? I have the same problem, from various Android devices, and wanted to make sure I’m not wasting my time with a printer/phone combination that won’t work.
